Summer Science Camp--Robotics!

This year Ansel and Jonas chose to do Gizmo's Robot Factory for their summer science camp. They learned about all sorts of stuff. Unfortunately Jonas missed a few days due to an ear infection, but still had fun. The family day was Friday at the end of the week, where we got to go and learn about what they did. I took Owen and Sadie and actually had an enjoyable time (compared to years past!).

The funnest and main attraction: robot races! Each kid built these robots and then they raced.

Both Ansel and Jonas won in their heats.

They then got to have their robots do "war." There were a number of different shapes in the room. The robots were each placed in the shape and then whoever got the other robot's 6 legs out of the taped outline, won. Pretty fun!
