Saturday we participated in their neighborhood Easter egg hunt. They separate this huge park into different areas and different age groups. Sadie's was first up, and unfortunately we were too late for her to get any eggs, but she still had a good time.
Owen and Natalie were next up and Owen had a blast running all around and finding as many eggs as he could.
Jonas and Alyssa were in the next group and they both filled their buckets up to the top....
Alyssa even found a "prize" egg with $5.00 in it!
Owen was sad he didn't find a prize egg.
Finally it was Ansel's turn. (Caleb because he's in 6th grade had one the night before with the middle and high schoolers, but he chose not to go). He gave Ansel lots of advice though and they a had a good strategy all planned out.
Needless to say the kids had a great time and got a ton of candy! It was a chilly morning and we were all ready to head indoors by the time it was over.
We had a little bit of down time and then it was off to Roach Gymnastics for Natalie's birthday party! The big boys stopped by and had a lot of fun fooling around before heading out to the batting cages while the rest had fun playing at the gym!
Alyssa and Sadie on the bars....it was so cute to see Alyssa with Sadie!
After the party I headed to the mall for a few hours and then Jon and Christopher headed to the Priesthood Session of Conference, while Tara and Alyssa had a clinic at the gym. I stayed with the rest of the kids and we had fun hangin' out.
Sunday was Easter. The kids woke up to a trail of Easter eggs leading to the table (one of the Hatch's traditions) where their Easter baskets were. We had a delicious breakfast and enjoyed watching Conference.
Tara made a delicious dinner of ham, potatoes, rolls, veggie platter, fruit salad and it was all so yummy! We left in time to make it home to get the kids to bed. We had a great week together and it was a fun Spring Break!
