Ansel, Jonas and I had a great time finding all the "magical" candy described in the book. It was a great afternoon!

The Candy Shop War
Ansel and Jonas are in a book club this summer. We missed the first few meetings when we were on our 3 week vacation, but we a few weeks ago we had the chance to host at our house. The book was The Candy Shop War by Brandon Mull, the author of the great Fablehaven series. This was a really fun book and was especially great for a bookgroup. We spent about an hour going through the discussion questions as the end of the book before treating the boys to our own magical candy.
