In anticipation of Sadie turning 8, we did a mini photo shoot so we could get an announcement for her baptism on November 1. These were the pics I took, which I think turned out great!
Because she was getting baptized with two other little girls in her class, us mom's got them together the Sunday before their baptism to do a little photo shoot so we could have some pictures at their baptism. What a fun group of little girls!
Christopher served on the board to get the Carousel up and running and we decided to have Sadie's party there. We invited all her classmates, as well as a bunch of family friends. It was a great turn-out and a fun night for this cute 8 year old!
My friend Michelle made cupcakes for the event, which were not only beautiful but delicious!

Sadie's birthday was Monday, October 27th. She woke up and requested birthday donuts. Here she is still adjusting to the bright light. We had to wake her up a bit early so her brothers could sing, etc.
My parents got into town that afternoon in time for her to open her presents before heading to her big birthday party at the Carousel.
