We enjoyed having family around this weekend for Sadie's blessing today. Christopher's parents came on Thursday and watched our kids while we enjoyed going to Spokane with some friends for a show. Jon and Tara and their kids and Lucy and Jay and their kids all showed up on Saturday afternoon. The kids had fun running around together and playing together. We watched football and enjoyed the Seahawk/Cowboy game.

It got pretty exciting as the Seahawks made some good moves...
You can just see how exciting this game is...it looks almost posed, but it is the real thing folks!
We barbecued and then had some fun with Lucy's new karaoke system for a couple of hours.

Today we had the opportunity to have Sadie be given a name and a blessing. I so appreciate all those that came and those that wanted to. It was such a special experience dressing Sadie in her blessing gown. She is so beautiful and a special spirit. I feel so lucky to have her in our family.
Here's the cousins, minus Owen who already had gone to nursery. Alyssa is behind Sammy holding Natalie, who wasn't too happy to be getting her picture taken:)
