Spring Break April 2011

We spent the week with Jon and Tara this year for spring break. Caleb, Alyssa and Natalie were on spring break too so it worked out perfectly. Jon took the week off and my parents even came over for the week.  The weather wasn't great, but it didn't stop the kids from playing outside too much. I got some shopping in, some reading and relaxing, a week off of cooking, and some quality time with Jon and Tara and my parents. The kids loved having their cousins to play with. Sadie at some point in the week told me she wished she had two sisters. Both Alyssa and Natalie played super well with her as well as Owen. Ansel, Jonas and Caleb were inseparable the entire week. They spent most of the week shooting hoops either outside the house or down at the school where there are covered hoops. The also went to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie all by themselves. They are already excited to see them again when Alyssa comes in a few weeks to compete in her state gymnastics meet.

On Monday we went to the Star Wars Exhibit at the Pacific Science Center. It was a very cool display of costumes, models, props and interactive displays of all our favorite Star Wars movies.
