We had a lovely Easter this year. Last year Ansel and Jonas were sick and I was sick and tired of the commercialism of Easter that I pretty much boycotted the holiday. This year, I tried to be a bit better. I explained to the kids that they wouldn't be getting Easter baskets, but that we would still have an egg hunt (mostly because I though it would be fun to have Lilly over to do one with and Sadie is still young and needing those memories) and dye eggs. So that's what we did. Christopher doesn't particularly care for ham, so we went with a more non-traditional dinner of roast and potatoes and rolls. I bought some lemon bars for dessert. It was simple and easy and wonderful. Here are some pics of our day~
