Pre-Christmas Fun!

The kids got out of school Friday afternoon. Sarah flew in later that night and we went to Fiesta Mexican for dinner. Saturday, the kids played games, we ran a few errands getting some last minute gifts and baked cookies and yummy candy cane popcorn for a friends party that night.  Christopher and I also stayed up way to late skyping with his parents, which is so amazing!

We had a wonderful Church program full of beautiful music and a Christmas message. The kids mostly cooperated for a mini photo shoot before Christmas. Owen was a bit of a stinker but after telling him that he'd have to stay in his church clothes after church to do it, he changed his mind and cooperated.

 Owen's primary teacher made all the boys in her class these cool BYU knitted mohawk caps.

Monday morning we got together with two of our good friends, the Walkers and the Hunters, for breakfast. The kids were mostly well behaved but I think next year we may just stick with the adults :) Just kidding. For a party of 20, I think they were pretty good. 

 The rest of the day the kids played outside. The sun was shining and although a bit chilly, they had fun. We baked the sugar cookies up and got everything ready for our Christmas Eve dinner...
