It was fun to go to Helena again for Thanksgiving. It turned into another mini family reunion minus Sarah (who was enjoying a fabulous trip to Morocco!). We left Tuesday after the kids were done with school and enjoyed visiting Hannah and Brandon and Lilly in Spokane for a bit before stopping in Kellogg, Idaho for the night. We made it to Helena in time to drop the kids off to play with their cousins (Lucy's kids were already there) and go to Staggering Ox with Maureen and Lucy.

It was sure fun to get reacquainted with the cute little dude!
Thursday morning a few of us braved the cold and participated in the Turkey Trot. Ian was willing to run with me which was nice. Brendan ran on his own. Christopher and Tara ran the 10k and Lucy, Maureen and Emily walked with Daniel.
Mom and Dad do such a good job hosting Thanksgiving. My mom had Christopher get down my Grandma Parkers old table down, which has been in our garage rafters for 30 years and it was nice to have another large table that we could all eat at.

Jon and Christopher went to Skyfall later that night and Lucy and I took the kids to the hotel to swim. We pretty much had the run of the place except for one man who was in the whirlpool. Sort of weird. The kids all had a great time...even Daniel!
The next few days were spent hanging out, cousins playing football or basketball, girls drawing pictures and playing, shopping, eating and enjoying being together, which is what Thanksgiving is all about!
We couldn't have asked for better weather. The sun shone most days, and while cold allowed the kids to be outside.
Love these two!
With 25 people comes lots of opportunities to do the dishes
Christopher replaced the thermostat and it was weird to see our old one in the garbage. It's just a part of the house I grew up in, so Tara suggested taking a picture so I could always remember it :)Sadie has been learning to read and she enjoyed reading to Grandma.
Spaghetti...one of the meals that we found all the kids enjoyed! Jon, Tara, Christopher and Emily enjoyed a night out at Chili's.
