I realized that I have some pictures that need posting from our Christmas Break. We enjoyed a lot of carefree days that were spent just sleeping in and playing around all day. We did venture out to lunch and a game of bowling with the Ritchies. The kids all had a great time and Sadie won!
December 31st provided a day of fun in the snow...it wasn't a lot but enough for the kids to make a little sledding jump in the front yard and be entertained for most of the day. We took the kids to Red Robin for a New Years Eve lunch that kept us full for dinner too!
We rang in 2010 with our annual New Years Eve Party. We had a few organized games this year that were fun. Using an idea that my sister Lucy told us about, we made a memory game using candy bars and clues that went with them, and then had a celebrity poster that people could try to figure out who was who. We had a lot of great food and had a good time visiting. It was fun and we had a great time with our friends!
I spent New Years Day getting all the Christmas stuff taken down. Christopher attempted to take the kids sledding, but when he got to Walla Walla he threw up and was making his way back home. The kids were disappointed to say the least, but we promised we'd do it another time. Everyone was tired so we had an early dinner and watched a bit of The Lord of the Rings on TV before an early bedtime!
